AfroFest 2019: Michigan's Largest Afro Party - 02/22/2019

In honor of Black History Month we created AfroFest: Michigan's Largest Afro Party. We noticed West Michigan lacked any true Black celebration during the month of February so we decided to create one. This event celebrates the beauty of Black culture through food, music and dance. We aimed to recreate the Black family reunion and offer an opportunity for community members to dress in traditional African attire and Hip Hop Fashion.
